A new report from the Columbia Institute says the country would create nearly four million non-residential construction jobs over the next 33 years if we shifted towards a net zero-emissions economy by 2050. “If Canada is serious about meeting our climate commitments, we need to move faster in areas like renewable energy, green building construction, building retrofits, and transportation infrastructure,” according to its Executive Director, Charlie Beresford.
